LNRC WESTCHESTER CHAIR MARY RAMOS BRAUNER NOMINATED TO STATE-LEVEL GOP POST MONROE, NY, March 31, 2015:
The Latino National Republican Coalition of New York State, Inc. (LNRCNYS) has announced that the organization’s Westchester County chair, Mary Ramos Brauner, will be nominated as the next Recording Secretary for the New York State Federation of Republican Women (NYSFRW) at their upcoming convention in Albany. Brauner thanked the Federation for their nomination, saying; “I have been honored to serve as an officer in New York’s foremost organization for Latino Republicans. Now, I look forward to the added honor of serving likewise in our state’s premier organization for Republican women.”
LNRC-NYS Chairman Rubén Estrada praised the decision, calling the Brauner nomination “a clear sign of the important role Latinos play in New York’s Republican Party, and a welcome acknowledgment by our state’s Republicans of that role.” Brauner’s nomination, along with the rest of the slate, will be brought before delegates for a vote during the NYSFRW convention April 18-20 (for more information, go to http://bit.ly/nysfrw2015con). Chairman Estrada is scheduled as a guest speaker at the convention as well.
Along with her role as chair of the Westchester chapter, Mary Ramos Brauner also serves as an executive committee member for LNRC-NYS. She is a district leader for the City of Yonkers, an active member of the Yonkers GOP, and founder and owner of Marywilltravel Signature Travel & Tours. The New York State Federation of Republican Women advocates crucial issues to positively impact the nation, strengthen the Republican Party through recruiting and training candidates, and empower women of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds in the political process.
The NYSFRW encompasses all 62 Counties, informing and involving Republican women, and providing grassroots support of the Republican Party, its candidates and elected officials throughout the state. The Latino National Republican Coalition, founded in 2009, is an organization of Republican leaders guided by conservative values, which supports the supremacy of United States Constitution as the guiding principle for the republic, and supports the mission and objectives of the national Republican Party and the various state Parties.
The LNRC is committed to developing and maintaining a Republican Latino voting constituency through recruitment, outreach, education and engagement to promote the traditional ideals of American democracy, values, freedom, free-market enterprise, and limited government.
