In Greek Mythology, Cassandra was the daughter of King Priam of Troy. She was stunningly beautiful and possessed the gift of prophecy, but was cursed by Apollo that none would believe her. This presidential election cycle bears witness to an American public that cast the curse of Cassandra upon the main-stream-media.
No independent thinking person believes the main-stream-media anymore. Abandonment of journalistic integrity by Univision commentator Jorge Ramos, or ABC’s George Stephanopolous, or NBC’s Katy Couric, or CNN’s Chris Cuomo are examples of simply being so for the other candidate, they’ve lost all objective perspective to the point they misrepresent the facts and simply are propagandist. They are in the tank, all in, all hands on deck, circle the wagons, for Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Trump has done the American public a great service because it is by his candidacy and no nonsense style that has pushed the media elites back on their heels. They have lost their masquerade and are exposed as being the model for a dishonest media.
Mr. Trump, a successful businessman in the real estate and entertainment industry, has been a political candidate for President less than 52 weeks. Inside that time, he challenged professional politicians, establishment Republicans, dynastic political family powerhouses, former Solicitor Generals, and among those, sitting Governors, former Governors, and two sitting Senators and beat them in a bare knuckle fist fight for the Republican nomination fair and square.
Every media outlet from CNN to Fox News, to Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and from every quarter attacked the man on every aspect of his earthly existence. They all failed to stop his push to the nomination. Mr. Trump won the primary against all of the elites, despite the barrage of insults against his person, family, and business, digging up or fabricating any dirt they can possibly find. The GOP primary voters dismissed it all.
The glaring fear the Trump opposition have is him winning over the Latino voters. The Latino voters by culture and nature of being business minded, revering family and pursuit of higher education would relate to Mr. Trump. So, the push came early to drive a wedge between the Latino Voters and Mr. Trump. That tactic revealed what they fear as the most threat to them. It back-fired. As was seen during the Primary votes in heavy Latino voting districts like Arizona, Nevada, and the Bronx, New York. Mr. Trump won them over hands down. They know the problems in their community and acknowledge so does Mr. Trump. They were not offended, they were validated.
From now to November, the attacks against Mr. Trump will intensify equal to the panic the left and elites feel as they find their grip on power slipping over to a Populist candidate. The public are now inoculated to the panic, cry wolf of the party leaders, immune to the chicken little sky is falling screamers, mock the pundits feigning offense at every word uttered by the man, and appalled by the orchestrated violence outside Trump rallies aimed at voter intimidation.
Let’s get this straight now; Mr. Trump did not abandon our Ambassador and his protectors in Benghazi, he did not compromise national secrets on a personal server, then lie about it, nor did he flip off the Congressional Committees investigating it. He did not try to tell the public that his speeches were so valuable and interesting that Corporate America wanted to pay millions of dollars to hear the pearls of business wisdom ooze from a person who never ran a lemonade stand. It was not Mr. Trump who took millions of dollars from foreign governments, laundered through a phoney boloney foundation, that “gave to Bill for favors from Hill.”
Mr. Trump is a New Yorker in character. A straight talking business leader by practice. Both of which components caught the elites and Washington establishment flat footed. As such, he has won the GOP nomination. He will likely go on to win the Presidency. When that happens, if his pattern is constant, he will pick up the phone and assemble around him the most talented people he knows. I am sure the Billionaire Boys Club members from Mark Cuban on down, will respond to a request for help from the President of the United States.
Mr. Trump is a job creator. One of his building projects alone employ hundreds of tradesmen, craftsmen, industries, skilled and unskilled labor from every quarter. One of his projects alone generates millions in revenues. Mr. Trump is the better qualified among the contenders to create jobs and negotiate trade deals. He is a capitalist not a socialist. If our currency fails and economy collapses, and it is supplanted with another currency or economic system, so too will our Constitution meet the same fate.
Our economy is in need of a fix. Jobs need to be created. Our currency value needs to be reliable. Our friendships assured. Our opponents understand our resolve without a doubt. Our young assured of a solid education. Our freedoms and liberties preserved without equivocation. That will not happen by more of the same from our globalist elites and socialists minded political leaders. This is now a job to be done by a businessman who understands like the rest of us, that the business of America, is business.
