Rhodes North Tavern in Sloatsburg, Rockland County, New York had over 500 Trump For President supporters from a variety of backgrounds and locations, Sunday, 30 October 2016.

Undeterred by a monumental downpour rainstorm these highly spirited and motivated activist took it all in stride.  Several hundred “Bikers for Trump” showed up in full formation of single line motorcycles arriving at this popular local tavern.  Then families began showing up wearing the now famous “Make America Great Again” slogan hats and tee-shirts.  Many posing in front of a sign display: “COPS LIVES MATTER”.

Tavern Owner Tyler Rhodes said: “I want everyone to feel welcome and free to express their God-given right to freedom of speech and choice for President.”

Organizer Tom Lynch, who drives around with the “TRUMP TRUCK” handed out hundreds of lawn signs promoting Trump/Pence 2016.

Promoter/organizer Elisa Leone Taylor worked tirelessly to draw crowds from all across Rockland County said: “rain or shine, we’re rallying to save our country.”  The parade of arriving supporters swelled the overflow parking lots, some parking blocks away unswayed by the looming dark rain clouds gathering around 3pm.

“This is a grassroots movement, we have Women for Trump, Veterans for Trump, Bikers for Trump, Latinos for Trump, and people tired of the same old mess for Trump” could be heard over the loudspeakers set up inside and outside the Tavern spoken by Anthony Melé, one of the event organizers.

Among the supporters and organizers were the Latino National Republican Coalition of Rockland County, whose membership endorsed Trump at the end of March 2016, included a diverse contingent of Latinos, as well as, registered Republicans, and former Rockland County GOP Committee members from every quarter, who prefer the “high energy and commitment” they experience in the autonomous LNRC of Rockland County.  “I’ve done more in one day as a member of the LNRC RC than I ever did in my time associated with the Ramapo GOP Committee” said Chestnut Ridge resident, Joe Shedlawski.

The level of enthusiasm could not be more evident than when the skies opened up and the downpour followed. Many of the ladies and supporters continued to hold up signs and brave the deluge fearlessly. “so what if my hair gets wet, I drove down from Sullivan County to be here today” said; Maria Mele.  Inside the capacity crowd Tavern a spontaneous rendition of “God Bless America” erupted followed by rousing applause.

Other participants expressed their disdain for the Democrat candidate on a variety of issues to include; missing money to Haiti, Benghazi, treatment of veterans, custodial recklessness of national top secrets, revelations mounting from the wiki-leaks, and now the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton and her close aide Huma Abedin – Weiner, wife of disgraced former democrat congressman, Anthony Weiner.

Promoter/Organizer Elisa Leone Taylor said; “after this great success, there is only one thing left to do before election day and that is have another Rally!”
