Jerry Donnellan, Connects Rockland County with Medal of Honor Delegation from Puerto Rico

MSG Juan E. Negron 65th Infantry Regiment MEDAL OF HONOR

 

On March 21st, 2014, at the Comfort Inn Nanuet; Jerry Donnellan, Director, Rockland County Veteran’s Agency took time out to join with Anthony Mele, Chairman, 65th Infantry Honor Task Force to welcome the Medal of Honor delegation, composed of Brigadier General Jose R. Burgos, 1Lt. Enjarque, and Ms. Iris Negron, daughter of MSG Juan E. Negron.

MSG Negron is the first of the famed Korean War Infantry Combat Team whose nom d’ guerre is; “Borinqueneers”,  to receive the Medal of Honor posthumously, at a White House ceremony March 18th, 2014 presented by President Obama.
